Ashbury hand-made and Ashvale hand-crafted clay roof tiles are tested 2-4 times a year to ensure they comply with the relevant UK standards. They are independently tested by CERAM® Building Technology and have passed:
BSEN538:1994 for strength
BSEN539-2:1998 for resistance to frost damage
BSEN539-1:1994 for impermeability to water
Each tile passes through rigorous inspection procedure to ensure only quality tiles leave the factory.
We have an insurance backed factory guarantee and have taken the added step of offering a 30 year insurance backed guarantee (a copy of which is available on request), against manufacturing defects when the tiles are fixed in accordance with British Standard Code of Practice for Slating & Tiling BS5534 : 2003. |
